Why is England SO rainy?? Why is Sheffield so rainy...? (Because it's in England)
Why do Sheffield buses SUCK SO MUCH??? (which means I always end up on foot UNDER THE RAIN)
I love this room. It feels like I've lived here all my life, and it's only been four days. The way the street lights enter my room and draw patterns on my walls... The bricks... Why does this room feels so familiar?
I totally must have lived there in a previous life.
I feel content, comfortable. Not worrying, even when I know I'm going to be tired tomorrow.
I actually work for the first time in my life. It's not unpleasant. I go home much later in the evening than I usually do in college, but I don't bring any homework back. The evening's mine.
People are nice, you get to drink coffee while you're working.
You feel like what you're doing is actually going to be useful to someone. So you have real reasons not to mess it up. Sensible ones, not selfish oh-my-god-maybe-I-won't-make-it-to-next-year ones. I know, I've just been working for two days. I know I'll eventually get bored of this and be fed up with stupid people, just like everyone else.
But you know what's great? I don't get to stay here. I leave in three weeks and go back to my student's life. How perfect is that?
Ok, the food sucks. Didn't expect anything else. So does the weather. And the buses. And I almost never speak to anyone.
When did dA journals become my blog?

Looks like you are a Robin Hobb fan, too
